vegan buttercream frosting

VEGAN BUTTERCREAM FROSTING

1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1/2 c. margarine
3 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/3 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. almond milk

beat shortening and margarine together til well-combined and fluffy. and sugar and beat like a crazy woman. add vanilla and milk, and beat til fluffy. voila!

i use raw sugar so the texture of mine usually comes out a little gritty, but it’s still delicious! if that bothers you, using refined sugar should do the trick. i can usually whip this up in about 10 minutes
