portobello burgers
so i know this blog is usually reserved for my baking adventures, but i couldn’t resist posting about the yummy vegan meal i cooked last night - portobello burgers with sweet potato fries!

i thinly sliced whole portobello mushroom caps and marinated them in olive oil and spices overnight to soften and flavor them, then fried them up with onions. the sweet potato fries were super easy too; i just fried them in vegetable oil!
portobello burgers are a recent favorite of mine, since they are a great alternative to fake burgers made with soy (which i try to keep out of my diet). pretty pleased with how this meal turned out! i highly recommend it for novice chefs
